“After making the decision to move house my husband and I rang around a few removal companies to get quotes. We called “Move Over” because they were easily found on Google and had an impressive website which clearly outlined all the services they could provide, I was not disappointed when I emailed Garry for a quote and he responded straight away to arrange a suitable time to call round.

Garry popped around that evening and gave us a very reasonable quote for moving, he also gave us some boxes and packing paper and wrap and advised us of the best ways to pack things (I found this information particularly valuable as it meant nothing was broken and it really helped with the speed of packing their van up on the day).

When the day of the move came Garry and his colleague arrived bang on time. I was a little concerned as we had some really heavy and large pieces (2 units that weighed in excess of 10st each and a huge couch) Garry said everything would be fine and not to panic, he was right, the two of them made light work of the two units and knew exactly how to dismantle (and remake) the sofa bed.

We were concerned that our huge couch wouldn’t fit in the new house because of the angle of the hall way but once again Garry and his colleague made light work of it! (that in itself saved us the cost of a new couch, I am sure  other removal companies wouldn’t have put so much effort into trying to get the couch in).

We were finished in half the time I expected to be as the guys both worked at full capacity all day. Needless to say we were very impressed with the service we received. It literally did take ALL the stress out of moving to know that we had such a competent team working for us. I can’t recommend “Move Over” enough and will be sure to be using them the next time we move!

Move Over helped with the tricky problem of relocating my aged mother from Newcastle to Bournemouth. Gary was very proactive and the only firm to say this was no problem.
